Cart Agreement and Responsibilities of Golfers:
Individuals that rent a golf cart, drive a golf cart, or are passengers in a golf cart at MCC hold Agro Golf Corporation, dba Middletown Country Club, harmless from any injuries or damage that may result from the operation or use of the golf cart.
Golfers are responsible for any injuries or damage to, or caused by golf carts. We ask all of our guests to respect our neighbors in the homes and properties surrounding our golf course. By Pennsylvania state law, golfers are responsible for any damage caused to property on or off of the golf course caused by errant golf shots.
Children under 9 years old are not permitted to ride in Golf Carts at MCC. Children under 9 years can golf for a fee after 3pm. They must walk the course and be supervised by a parent or guardian throughout their round.
MCC policy is (2) golf carts per Foursome. Twosomes will be permitted (1) golf cart. Singles are expected to ride with a threesome in the second cart. Please plan accordingly. All golf carts, pull carts, and rental clubs must be returned to the Cart Barn or Golf Shop by the designated return time posted in the Golf Shop. There is an additional fee of $20 per golfer for golf carts that are returned late and/or if the cart key is missing or not returned.
MCC Alcohol/Liquor Policy: All alcoholic beverages must be purchased from Middletown Country Club. Enforcement of this policy is prioritized for the safety of our golfers, visitors, and staff. Oversized coolers are not permitted on the property. MCC reserves the right to confiscate any outside alcoholic beverages brought onto the property. Repeat offenders will be banned from golfing at MCC.
Pace of Play: The Members at Middletown Country Club regularly maintain a four-hour pace for 18 holes of golf. Guests of the Club are also expected to move along at a four-hour pace. Please keep up with the group in front of you. Our goal is to ensure your visit is enjoyable and you should not feel rushed. Should your group fall behind the pace, our Starter/Rangers will address the situation and ask you to catch up with the group ahead of you. MCC Starter/Rangers have the authority to have groups skip holes to regain their position. Practicing is not permitted on the golf course at any time.
Frost and/or cold weather may cause starting times to be delayed in the winter and early spring months. Every effort will be made to get play underway as soon as possible. Shotgun starts may be used.
