2010 Junior Golf Camp Application

Middletown Country Club and the Agro Golf Corporation are proud to introduce our summer junior golf program.  Here is a great opportunity for the junior golfer to begin or further his/her education in the game of golf.  The lead instructor is PGA Director of Golf Dan Hoban.  He is a Class A Member of the PGA of America and a member of the Philadelphia PGA Growth of the Game and Junior Golf committees.   Dan has over 18 years of experience in junior golf instruction and is also the golf coach at Philadelphia’s Roman Catholic High School.  Hoban was named the Philadelphia Inquirer 2005 Coach of the Year and is a 2007 inductee of the Roman Catholic High School Sports Hall of Fame.  His junior programs over the years have produced high school golfers throughout the Philadelphia Catholic League, Philadelphia Public League, and the Catholic Academies League.  Several of his students are now members of college golf teams and two have become PGA Professionals. Our program is one where we focus on FUN while teaching the fundamentals, rules, etiquette, and safety.  We hope to foster a love for the game while keeping the instruction simple.  Each student will progress at his or her own level.  Rules, course conduct, and swing mechanics will be covered during the course of the program.  While this is a group instuction program, we will make every effort to work with each individual student.  We do have a limited supply of golf clubs for those students that do not have clubs.

New to this year’s program is one group session that will strictly be for YOUNG LADIES ONLY!  Throughout the years, we have seen an increasing number of young girls that have discovered golf.  While this is great, we want to give young ladies the opportunity to learn and have fun without the intimidation factor that sometimes occurs when they are grouped together with the boys.

The fee for the Junior Golf Program is $120.00. Please make checks payable to Middletown Country Club.
