It’s that time of the year to play “The Most Heroic Round You’ll Ever Play”. Join us at Middletown Country Club this coming Labor Day weekend (Friday, Sept.4th-Mon. Sept.7th) for the nation-wide annual Patriot Golf Day to benefit the Folds of Honor Foundation. Greens fees will be increased by one dollar with every extra dollar raised going directly to Folds of Honor. Folds of Honor was founded by PGA Professional and former F-16 pilot Major Dan Rooney, a veteran of three tours in Iraq. Folds of Honor was created to give scholarships to family members of our military who have been killed or wounded in Iraq or Afghanistan. Like our military, we want to make sure that no family gets left behind. You can do your part as a patriot and a golfer by simply playing a round of golf that weekend. Tee times can be made by calling (215)-757-6951, ext.10 or by visiting our website at www.middletowncc.com. Don’t forget our special Patriot Golf Day ceremony that will be held on the 1st tee at 10AM on Labor Day morning featuring the Jesse W Soby Post of the American Legion. We will be honoring three special members of the Middletown family that have served our country in the military. The public is invited to take part as well as our golfers. Play will be suspended at 9:45 AM so golfers can make their way to the 1st tee for the short ceremony.
