Middletown Country Club will celebrate New Year’s Eve and kick off 2013 and the 100th Anniversary of the club on Monday evening, December 31st, 2012 in the Ball Room. Festivities will begin at 8:30 PM. The evening begins with butler sytle and stationed hot and cold Hors D’oeuvres. Executive Chef William Garber’s menu for the evening includes italian wedding soup, a mandarin red leaf salad, and a tri-color tortellini pasta. Choices for the main entree include an 8 ounce filet mignon, a 4 ounce filet mignon paired with a 4 ounce crab cake, and chicken sambuca. Dessert includes a painted plate of berry glace topped with a chocolate covered strawberry, fruit tart, petite fore, and a cannoli. The ever popular bananas foster flambe’ will also be featured. The evening also features a full four hour open bar, a champagne toast as the clock strikes midnight, entertainment by DJ Tim Lieb, and a few surprises.
